Our Commitment to Quality and Customer Service

At DHS Equipment, we proudly stand behind every part we offer. Most of our parts and equipment undergo quality inspection at our Pompano Beach warehouse. If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us immediately at 866-611-9369 so we can work together to resolve any issues.


Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned in accordance with industry policy. These include:

  • Electrical Parts: All electrical components are non-returnable.

  • Carburetors and Related Parts: This includes any parts related to carburetors (e.g., gaskets, gasket sets, seals, O-rings, or any parts that have been installed).

  • Engine Components: Engines and their parts, including associated gaskets, seals, and O-rings, are not eligible for return.

  • Installed or Attempted Installations: Any item that has been installed or for which installation was attempted is non-returnable.

  • Improper Packaging: Items that are not in their original packaging or that are missing components, manuals, or literature cannot be returned.

  • Sale or Promotional Items: Items bought on closeout, sale, or promotion are final.

  • Customer Fitment Errors: If an item was purchased without confirming proper fitment, DHS Equipment is not responsible for discrepancies due to manufacturer part diagrams. We always recommend contacting us to verify fit before purchase.


General Returns

Please note that a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) from DHS Equipment is required for all returns. Please contact us at [email protected] or 866-611-9369 to secure your RMA. Once issued, please note the following guidelines:

  • Review Process: Allow 1-2 Business Days for us to review your return request.

  • Return Merchandise Authorization: Please reach out to our Customer Service team for an RMA number before returning your parts. Writing the RMA number on the outside of your package will help our team expedite your refund. 

  • Condition of Items: Returned items must be new and in their original packaging.

  • Refund Process: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method that was used at checkout.

  • Return Window: Parts must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Special Order OEM Parts: These items may incur restocking fees set by the manufacturer, typically ranging from 15-20%.

Parts Exchanges

If you need to exchange a part, and an RMA has been issued, you have two options:

  • Method 1: Provide us with your shipping tracking number if no pre-paid label was provided. Once your return is confirmed as in transit, we will send out the replacement part.

  • Method 2: If you require the part urgently, you may order a replacement immediately. Once we receive the original item, we will refund your initial purchase.


Special Returns

For Core Warranty returns, an RMA must be obtained by contacting DHS Equipment. The following conditions apply:

  • Mandatory RMA: Core returns cannot be processed without an RMA due to manufacturer guidelines.

  • Timely Filing: Warranty claims should be submitted immediately to facilitate manufacturer support.

  • Return Deadline: The item must be returned within 7 days of receiving your warranty claim. Returns submitted after this period may result in forfeiture of warranty or core credit.

  • Packaging Requirements: If applicable, cores should be returned in the original packaging that accompanied the replacement part.
